Ground Shaker was founded by Travis Kropp in 2007 from a deep-rooted passion for high-performance diesel engines.

While Travis initially pursued a successful career in the oilfield, rising to Engineer for United States Steel and becoming a national failure analysis field rep for all rigs and pipelines in the Marcellus and Utica shale plays, his knack for turning wrenches never faded. In 2013, he channeled that experience into starting Ground Shaker Transport – a trucking company built on reliability and performance.

From Transport to Motorsports

To keep our growing fleet of hot shot and semi-trucks on the road 24/7, we established Ground Shaker Motorsports, LLC in 2017 as our dedicated maintenance division. Word of our expertise spread quickly, and soon, we were servicing more than just our own fleet.

In 2021, we expanded our operations by acquiring the Interstate Truck Center in Muncy, PA. This move allowed us to shift our focus and resources to become the region’s premier destination for high-performance service.

Since Spring 2023, Ground Shaker Motorsports has proudly become the area’s aftermarket accessories and performance powerhouse. We leverage Travis’s industry contacts and deep knowledge to offer product lines and expertise unmatched by any other local shop.
